After many a month of sitting on my ass and working too hard at my day job Ive decided to take on a fun little project… Recently I have found the wonderful world of Beatport.com and with the purchase of a load of my favorite tunes I have started creating really wacked out techno mashups using Ableton live… with help from a number of joints and a nice new comupter chair I pretty much took a 2 week crash course in djing strictly with mp3’s and created a really intense live set consisting of about 70 tracks. This live set is infinitely variable and very intuitive, leaving alot of creative flexibility… so from now on I will be posting a new live set twice a month. It will cover a wide range of minimalist electronic music with a strong emphasis on Canadian content. Mark your calendars folks this minimal stuff is about to invade your dome!
